January 14th to january 16th - camp sylvester family camp
Camp Sylvester is a cherished retreat for us as every year, it allows for new and unique experiences to the scouts. Surrounded by wilderness, this snowy campground is accompanied by the cozy lodges. The surroundings offer a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Scouts were able to play games in the Chance Hall and compete in their own Dessert Competition.

February 10th to February 12th - fremont state park
This park features expansive views of Monterey Bay, from its hiking trails in the grasslands of the higher peaks of the Gavilan Range. Other views include the San Benito Valley, Salinas Valley, and the Santa Lucia Mountains east of Big Sur. Pine and oak woodlands in the park are home to many birds and mammals. The park also features an astronomical observatory

MARCH 17TH TO MARCH 19TH - coyote lake
Coyote Bear provides habitats for many species of animals. The park is home to rare western pond turtle, California tiger salamander, and the bay checkerspot butterfly. 219 species of birds have been seen here, including our national bird, the bald eagle. Even mountain lions have been seen by visitors in the park’s hinterlands.

APRIL 28TH TO APRIL 30TH - memorial park
There's a humbling feeling when you're in the presence of redwoods. A gentle peace envelops you like a fog that drifts in. This peace is found every day at Memorial Park. Its 673 acres provides an opportunity to view outstanding old-growth redwoods and has picnic facilities, a nature center, a camp store, and campfire programs.

MAY 19TH TO MAY 21ND - point reyes
From its thunderous ocean breakers crashing against rocky headlands and expansive sand beaches to its open grasslands, brushy hillsides, and forested ridges, Point Reyes offers visitors over 1500 species of plants and animals to discover. Home to several cultures over thousands of years, the Seashore preserves a tapestry of stories and interactions of people.

June 17th to june 19 - henry cowell and felton train ride
Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains and is most famous for the 40-acre grove of towering old-growth redwood trees. Its historical significance and spectacular scenery draw travelers from around the world. Visitors can enjoy hiking, horseback riding, picnicking, swimming, and camping on more than 4,650 acres of forested and open land.

June 26th to july 4th - northern tier
july 30th to august 5th - camp wente
Wente Scout Reservation is located 5 miles east of the Northern California town of Willits and 150 miles north of San Francisco. The property was purchased in 1959 by the Oakland Area Council and held is first summer camp five years later in 1964. Over the years the camp has grown from just a few hundred Scouts the first year to well over 4000 Scouts and Scouters each summer.

august 12th to august 13th - whitewater rafting (OARS)
At OARS in California, the Scouts were able to experience the rush of river rafting amidst stunning scenery. They navigated thrilling rapids, soaked in the beauty of California's rivers, and create lasting memories with friends and family. Scouts were able to develop their skills on the water and enjoy a unique camping experience!

september 15th to september 16th - portola valley
october 13th to october 15th - pinnacles
Pinnacles Campground is accessed only from the east side of the Park as there are no connecting roads between the two entrances of Pinnacles. The campground offers tent and group camping, along with RV sites. Each tent and group site has a picnic table and fire ring. Water is located throughout the campground. Oak trees provide shade at many campsites.

november 4th to november 5th - joseph grant
This 10,882 acre park includes some of the County's finest open space resources, as well as rich environmental, cultural and recreational assets. The landscape is characteristic of the east foothills of the Santa Clara Valley with grasslands and majestic oak trees. As part of the park's tradition and history, cattle grazing currently takes place in some areas.
