January 13th to January 15th - Camp Sylvester​

 Camp Sylvester is a cherished retreat for Troop 457 as every year, it allows for new and unique experiences to the scouts. Surrounded by pristine wilderness, this snowy campground is accompanied by the cozy lodges. The surroundings offer a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Scouts were able to play games in the Chance Hall and compete in their own Dessert Competition.
February 23rd to February 25th - Bear paw

Bear Paw Campground is a tranquil retreat in the heart of nature. With well-maintained campsites surrounded by lush forest, Bear Paw provides the perfect setting for camping, hiking, and relaxation. The campgrounds offers a serene getaway for all who seek to reconnect with the great outdoors. On this campout, Scouts camped out in the lodge, had snowball fights and made forts!
March 15th To March 17th - Portola Redwood State Park

Nestled along the rugged coastline of Northern California, Portola Redwoods State Park beckons with its majestic ancient forests and breathtaking natural beauty. Home to towering redwoods, fern-lined trails, and cascading waterfalls, this enchanting park offers a sanctuary for both solitude and exploration. With miles of hiking trails, scouts were able to have a thrilling backpacking adventure! 
April 13th to April 16th - Sequoia national park

Sequoia National Park is known for its huge sequoia trees, notably the General Sherman Tree dominating the Giant Forest. The underground Crystal Cave features streams and striking rock formations. Moro Rock is a granite dome offering sweeping park views​.
May 17th to may 19th - Brannan Island

Brannan Island State Recreation Area is a maze of waterways through the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. This park northeast of San Francisco Bay, has countless islands and marshes with many wildlife habitats and many opportunities for recreation, including boating and swimming.
June 12TH TO 24th - Philmont

Philmont Scout Ranch is the Boy Scouts of America’s largest National High-Adventure Base. It covers 140,177 acres of rugged mountain wilderness in northeastern New Mexico. Philmont Scout Ranch operates 35 staffed camps and 55 trail camps across the rugged terrain that range in elevation from 6,500 to 12,441 feet.
Joseph Grant (June 15-16)

Joseph D. Grant County Park is the largest county park in Santa Clara County, California. Also known as Grant Ranch Park, this site is situated in the Diablo Range foothills of the eastern Santa Clara Valley.
Summer Camp (Emerald Bay)

Emerald Bay, located on the undeveloped West End of Catalina Island, enjoys unparalleled access to the natural gems of Catalina’s singular ecosystem. The secluded beaches and coves that surround the camp boast world-renowned snorkeling and diving.
White water rafting (OARS)

OARS was among the first outfitters to offer American River rafting trips. Today, the American River, which is easily accessible from Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, and the San Francisco Bay Area, is considered the epicenter of California whitewater rafting, with abundant opportunities for first-timers and experienced paddlers alike.
Castle Rock

Castle Rock State Park is a land of sculpted sandstone, lush forests, and sweeping vistas. From one of the highest ridges in the Santa Cruz Mountains, park visitors enjoy hiking, backpacking, and horseback riding. Rock climbers explore the park's caverns and rocks, including the namesake Castle Rock.
Fort Ross (October 18th)

Fort Ross is a California State Historic Park showcasing a historic Russian-era fort compound designated a National Historic Landmark. Fort Ross is surrounded by sandy beaches, panoramic coves, and redwood forests
Black diamond Mines Regional Preserve (9th -10th)

The Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve is a 6,000-acre park located north of Mount Diablo in Contra Costa County, California. The preserve contains relics of 3 mining towns, former coal and sand mines, and offers guided tours of a former sand mine.
