Camp Sylvester is a cherished retreat for Troop 457 as every year, it allows for new and unique experiences to the scouts. Surrounded by pristine wilderness, this snowy campground is accompanied by the cozy lodges. The surroundings offer a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Scouts were able to play games in the Chance Hall and compete in their own Dessert Competition.

Memorial Park is a 673-acre old-growth redwood forest in the Santa Cruz Mountains near Loma Mar. This park features shaded hiking trails, creekside swimming holes, and family campsites nestled among towering redwoods. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, camping, and exploring the rich wildlife habitats. With connections to nearby preserves, Memorial Park offers a peaceful escape into nature just a short drive from the Bay Area.

April 4th to April 6th - Camporee at camp chesebrough

Camp Chesebrough Scout Reservation is a forested retreat in the Santa Cruz Mountains, nestled between Castle Rock State Park and Big Basin. This 544-acre property is covered in redwoods, oaks, and winding creeks, offering a peaceful setting for Scouting programs year-round. The camp features multiple campsites, a modern lodge, shooting ranges, and a climbing wall. With opportunities for hiking, archery, leadership training, and outdoor skills, Camp Chesebrough combines rustic adventure with convenient access, just a short drive from Silicon Valley.

May 16th to may 18th - Manresa Sunset Beach

Sea Base is the Boy Scouts of America’s premier National High-Adventure aquatic base. Located in the Florida Keys, it offers unique ocean-based experiences across multiple locations including Islamorada, Summerland Key, and Big Munson Island. Sea Base programs include sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, and marine conservation, with adventures ranging from tall-ship voyages to island survival treks. Each year, thousands of Scouts explore the vibrant ecosystems of the Atlantic, making Sea Base an unforgettable gateway to high-seas adventure.

Uvas Canyon County Park is a serene escape nestled in the eastern slopes of the Santa Cruz Mountains, known for its shady trails, lush ferns, and cascading waterfalls.
