PISMO BEACH
|
During the month of March, 7 girls went to our troop's first beach campout of the year! We explored local beaches, went for a swim in the ocean and cooked near the beach. This was another relaxing campout!

SANBORN
|
In April, Troop 2457 went to Sanborn County park. This was a backpacking trip for 1 night. Campers hiked a total of 2-3 miles. It was a rainy day but Troop 2457 still had a blast!

Manresa Sunset Beach
|
During the month of may, a joint campout was held with Troop 457. Together, both troops went kayaking for 2 hours after breakfast and got to observe local wildlife. Afterwards, the rest of the day was spent visiting local beaches and learning how to camp in beach environments.

UVAS Canyon
|
During the month of June, Troop 2457 went to Uvas Canyon State Park. Scouts completed steep hikes to view scenic waterfalls the park is known for. Many scouts learned new cooking skills in the outdoors and had a fun summer campout!

SUMMER CAMP: Camp Oljato
|
This July, 7 girls from Troop 2457 went to Camp Oljato, a summer camp located in Fresno County. Along with our brother troop (457), we earned the Honor Troop award by demonstrating all aspects of the Scout Oath and Law during our stay at Oljato. We will definitely be going again soon!

JOSEPH GRANT
|
In the month of August, a joint campout was held between Troop 2457 and 457. Joseph Grant has been a troop favorite since it was founded. Scouts participated in hikes, cooking requirements and outdoor activities while exploring the reserve.

Mt. Diablo
|
In the month of September, Troop 2457 and 457 had a joint campout in Mt. Diablo state park. Together, both troops completed a 3 1/2 mile hike to a vista point to overlook Central Valley. This was a 2 night campout our troop has been attending for over 3 years!

SEaBASE 2025
|
This was the FIRST TIME Troop 2457 went to Seabase, an aquatic high adventure. This outing took place during the month of June as well. 6 members of the girls troop attended this exciting high adventure. The trip lasted for 7 days; 2 days on land and 5 days on water (Atlantic Ocean).
