Troop 2547 and 457 are going to Camp Sylvester from February 11th to February 13th! This is a fun family camp located in east California. The scouts and their families will go skiing and other activities in the snow. More information about Camp Sylvester is located on the 2022 Outings Page of this website.

The Popcorn season began a week ago and this year Troop 2457 is aiming to have each of it's Scouts raise 200 dollars.
How to Raise the Money There are multiple ways help raise money for your troop. Door to door sales work and so do contacting friends and family but the main way for sales to happen is online. To do this download the Trail's End app. You can build your page and people can view your page and buy popcorn and you can share the website with people you know through this. People can also donate money directly to your troop instead of buying popcorn. Make sure to support Troop 2457 and help raise money for BSA! Contact Shilpa Rao for more information on this. The Troop 2457 website will finally be updated regularly now that the position of Webmaster has also been filled. There will be updates on campouts, future events, and just basic resources that all Scouts are free to use. All the Troop 457 stuff will remain the same but the website will have the addition of Troop 2457 material as well.
Keep a look out for our next upcoming plans, the rafting trip in July and most importantly the Scout camp at Hi - Sierra at the end of this summer. We’ve been hard at work on this new version of the Troop Website and are extremely excited to finally be sharing it with you now! This new site has some great new features, but what is best about it is that each both the troops have separate tabs. For Scouts and parents: You can now access the Troop internal tabs by clicking or hovering over the scout panel drop down menu after you log in.
